How Effective Music Show for Promotion

I saw a lot of people comments that music show ratings are abysmal and only fans tuning in to see their faves.

However, others would say that their faves got no promo if they didn’t come to music show.

Considering the abysmal rating, how effective actually music show as form of promotion for all these groups?

effective in charting as seen in rise in charting when itzy, aespa, red velvet, omg, etc. promotes on music shows.

this has been proven time and time again that is why you always read gg stans here say “wait until they promote it will rise”
