I'm the moderator who approved this thread.

If you go into moderation of Anons with the mindset that every thread is a setup and every OP wants to troll, no threads would be approved and no discussion would happen.

This doesn't have to be a debate about charts or competition. The Burning Sun scandal was a situation that affected the way many viewed K-pop. We talk about scandals involving idols all the time. I'm just trying to be objective and not try to silence that.

If I didn't approve this, some may claim I'm suppressing discussion about a serious topic that needs awareness. Not all responses are approved.

That's not for me to say. I can't assume other users' intentions just because one troll in the past may have tainted our perception of the word "discuss."

This could be a genuine question and the user just doesn't know what to elaborate on in the text body. We've all been there.

If I'm going to be skeptical of every user's intent, not much would get approved. I know this from my own experience having declined many submissions in the past.

Superyeah did right thing by approving this thread. Burning sun involved some of the biggest celebrities in korea who happen to be related to kpop. It has to have affected kpop in some ways. Discussing it should not be disallowed.

I would like to take this opportunity say something that has been bothering me for a while. I hope moderator will allow this because this has been ongoing issue on this forum. I don't intend to generalise but I have to.

Female users on this forum need to get their act together. Not everyone is against everything female. Alot of female users here think even a slight negative connotation against females make people misogynist. They start throwing fists at people who give even a little negative remark about females. Female users on this forum are suppressing alot of discussions on this forum. They want everyone to think the same way about how female related discussions should be done. This is wrong in so many ways. Because everyone has different point of view.

Take mingyu situation for example. Alot of female users were trying to paint him as a misogynist supporter just for posting that picture without any context. Everyone who defended him was being treated as misogynist and was getting insulted. There have been many situations on this forum where female users have overreacted towards the situations. This is making people not give their opinions on any female related topic unless they follow the clique. Female users on this forum need to get their act together for this forum to become a better place for female users.

I read that a famous group were involved - not BB.

I think this is deeper than we think and that we will never find out the truth but the Korean GP knows somehow.

I don’t think I’ve heard any actual group being involved, just members from groups like BB and CN blue. If Korean public knew then surely they would’ve exposed anyone else already or at least a strong blind rumour

Korean GP aren't going to expose everyone involved because some of their investments or retirement funds depend on kpop success.

With the way Korean "GP" dragged anyone for the smallest mistake, I doubt something that big could easily swept under the rug.

Especially if it really about famous group, considering every groups has its own antis that will salivate at the prospect of causing troubles.

A lot of 4 gen group get dragged for bullying, BP get dragged for wearing nurse outfit, Jungkook get dragged for wearing his brother outfit, Irene get dragged for bullying her stylist, Momo n Jihyo get dragged for dating, and something this big get swept under the rug?

Even if mainstream media didn't published it, you bet people will talk about in k-forum. BB was still influential during that time, and if they can't escaped it, I really doubt other group could.
