Longevity or peak - what matters more in the long run?

Eleven had better longevity in top 10 but Savage has better peak (and longevity) in top 1,2 and 3 and remains the only 4th gen group to achieve raks, paks and cake. What matters more?

Both, if you only have peak without longevity you'll be called one hit wonder. If you don't have peak, people will question your popularity.

Both but in the op case savage performed better considering eleven can't compete for the top 1 to 3 longevity since it never charted that high

Not a fan of any of the groups but eleven is a masterpiece in relation to Savage.

And let's not forget that eleven is a debut song, not a comeback after next level hit. So ofc eleven considering all aspects is better, aespa had not achieved that much with their debut.

And yes, longevity matters more

Savage is the only 4th gen song to achieve rak,pak & cak so obv savage>>>>

Both are important, but in this situation you can't compare eleven to savage. Savage has charted number 1 on all charts and the highest eleven got was 3 or 4 for a few hours. I would rather get a pak and 100 raks than 30 days in top 10. People will never forget the first 4th gen group to get a pak more than once and 100 plus raks

Longevity is more important, afaik Next Level is bigger than Savage but people never talk how it reached number #1 on charts, but how it stayed on top 10 for 27 weeks. I think many top artists and even hit wonders can reach #1 but not many can get longevity.

But next level did reach number 1 on charts it just didn’t get a pak or rak but savage spent longer on number 1 than next level

What I meant was ive never reached number 1 or top 3 like next level or savage. So technically next level can’t be used to support elevens debate since next level has both longevity and peak but eleven doesn’t.

Exactly. So that shows why longevity is more important. Savage spent a longer time on number 1 than Next Level yet Next Level is the biggest song cause it had far more longevity.
