Is generation argument just to drag groups?

I don't think so, Pop stars aren't defined in generations by fans yet fanwars occur anyway, at most ex acts (but not even the media recognize them like that)

The only time I ever see 1st gen groups being mentioned is when people compare them to 3rd/4th gen in order to depict the ''evolution'' of k-pop internationally
