    Rookie girl group TRI.BE joins TWICE, TXT, and (G)I-DLE as the fourth k-pop group which will be represented and promoted in the USA by Republic Records.


    The rumor about Republic Records joining Universal Music Group in TRI.BE promotions started circling around the web after Republic Records' official Twitter account posted a video with TRI.BE introduction.

  • Are republic burning money or

    to be fair they don't push any of them properly (ie they don't put that much money into them). It helps with distribution and at least TXT is selling decently (minisode got to #25 on the bb200, which is pretty good) as well as Twice also being able to chart. They aren't doing any full on push, more so that its easier for these acts to sell their albums in the US

    Yeah I'm aware about txt and twice, just weird how they would promote a group that just debuted lol. But yeah most of these companies don't really do much for kpop groups anyways, I know that's the case even for bp and I also remember armys complaining about columbia

  • At least it is not interscope.... who literally just rakes in royalty money and does nothing else :wellr: although republic does not do much for their international artists either it is still more than their sister label interscope. I hope they prove me wrong as I quite like these rookies.
