Why is Bts the only top group without a song that blew up due to tiktok?

    They probably mean a song that was unknown or flopping but was later saved by going viral on TikTok. But that is unrealistic since any song bts releases is huge from the beginning already. The effect TikTok would have would be negligible as others have said.


    And all these songs that have gone viral still can’t match the streams and impact of a bts song so what’s the point?

    Does BTS even need tiktok? Look at where the most viral Kpop tiktok song Money is and where My Universe is on spotify charts today.


    P.S. Tiktok is not as organic as people here naively assume, its being reported and well documented that there is anything but organic about songs going viral

    They have dumb multis on tiktok gatekeeping their music. Bst is the only kpop song I’ve seen kpop stans under complaining about how locals don’t deserve to use a kpop song to start a trend. Like this energy was not there for money or any of the other kpop songs that went viral on tiktok. Hypocrites

    It's really simple, TikTok wasn't widely used until recently. All big groups before 4th gen got big without using it, not just BTS.
