Who is bigger overall? Blackpink or Exo?

    I have always thought it was Blackpink cause they have contributed to further expansion of K-pop globally. Also, Blackpink has invaded major music markets and had more local and global hits.

    EXO was bigger than Blackpink in 2016, we are in 2022. Blackpink is the 2nd biggest kpop act.

    unless you're comparing exo in 2016 with bp in 2020, there's really nothing to debate over

    Exo is 3 times bigger than blackpink in physical sales. Korean streams wise exo are ahead of blackpink. Hits wise blackpink are ahead of exo. Spotify and youtube blackpink are far ahead of exo. Touring wise exo did far better than blackpink. Exo have more awards than blackpink. Overall I will give it to exo. They were number 1 group at one time and face of kpop.

    People really think Twice is bigger than exo?? I'm not that sure

    Both are kpop, so bigger in the kpop world is pretty irrelevant.

    Exo latest MV took 9 months nearly and still ain't even hitting 100m views. They got less ML's on spotify than 4th gen BG's and their streams are tagic for their last comeback lol. Struggling to chart for long in Japan, never charted in the US, were pretty much a no show on Spotify and Apple Global charts, etc.


    I mean in 2021 Exo were behind Stray Kids in almost every single metric. All they have is sales and right now those are lower than 17, Stray Kids, NCT, etc yet they some how pretend to be bigger than those groups too lol.

    Since EXO is not even that active anymore let's just take into account these past years and ignore all the years of legacy before. You can't erase all their their achievements just because because you want, it's like saying the biggest 1st and 2nd gen groups are not big anymore because they are not active now, those groups are even bigger overall than all your 4th gen groups

    As someone said before EXO is ahead of BP in some areas but even so i think maybe BP is bigger because of the impact they had globally outside the kpop niche. And for those saying Twice is bigger than EXO are you okay? lol :clown:

    Exo have more sales since they’re a boygroup but that’s it

    Twice have more digitals since they’re a girlgroup but that’s it

    Exo only had sales, now several groups are selling better and will likely overtake their total sales. It's not liek they had hits or something to fall back on.

    Twice sold more total than BP.
