Is bts privilege bigger than big 3 privilege?

  • Debut mv 24 hrs likes

    Txt 2.38million

    Enhypen 1.75million

    Aespa 1.35million

    Treasure 1.15million

    Itzy 890k

Recent sm yg jyp groups debut mv likes are closer to each other. Both hybe groups have significantly more likes on their debut mvs. Hybe groups still have not surpassed their debut mv 24hrs views or likes with any of their comebacks but other groups in the list have already had better comebacks than their debuts.

If bts privilege is bigger than big 3 privilege, why txt and enhypen stans deny it? Discuss.

  • having more fans who like it does not mean more privilige

  • i think they're the same.

  • more fans = more likes and views and more whatever the hell there is to contest

im not mathematician but i think i solved it

  • having more fans who like it does not mean more privilige

Having more fans who like it on the debut day is literally privilege. You won't see a nugu group get 10% the number of these likes or views because no one would know the song exists on their debut day. These groups have privileges hence more views and likes.

don't ignore how much views nmixx had on their debut despite everyone hating the song

even if people had liked the song do you think they would have had more likes than treasure or aespa? Hybe groups here have 4 times their likes.

Half nmixx views are ads. Hybe groups had as many views without ads on their debut.

    i think they're the same.

Txt and itzy debuted a month apart. txt have more than double itzy likes. aespa, enhypen, treasure debuted around same time, enhypen have significantly more likes than aespa and treasure. How is it the same?

    Internationally? Idk

    In Korea? Def not

Internationally txt and enhypen are popular in the same countries that of bts. Japan, us, europe. Not that popular in china or sea just like bts.

You are mathematician that's why you could solve it.

  • I dont see the connection. YT is just one platform and perhaps the worst metrics. Views can be bought through ads —Hybe does not do ads. We dont know how my much impact it does in YT algorithm in terms of seeing it in your reco list. Likes for EN are pretty much the same , over 3 million for Given Taken, Fever & Drunk-Dazed. It’s not bad and actually believable w/ their 5 million followers in YT. It prob means they have more organic views — it’s funnier if u have 100 million views but likes are low. YT is probably their weakest platform ( still not bad w/o ads) but that’s fine since no one is claiming they are on top of everything.

But their growth in other platforms— spotify(monthly listeners, streams) , mentions & engagaments in social media, followers in all social media. album sales , endorsements , awards, voting power, charting in different top music industry like US, Japan & Europe. So both Enhypen and Txt are doing great . Non-fans are just pissed off because their biases cant connect.

Getting associated with BTS is a double-edge sword — it gives u instant exposure, people maybe interested to check u out but people may hate you, bash u non-stop and look for every little mistakes to bring u down. Stanning them completely is all up to ur preferences. For me album sales are the biggest factor in determining the size of their own fandom— no casual fan will buy or spend money for groups they dont sincerely like. If u add voting power, social engagements , then spotify streams/monthly listeners —- u know they already made a niche in the industry.

All Big 3 have their own privileges but like EN & TXT it can only give u a jump-start but rest are all up to the grp’s charm/appeal , talent & luck.

  • 100%

bts is the biggest group worldwide, so in the kpop category they are an anomaly

combine this with the fact that a lot of army are company stans/neutral towards the company (compared with other big kpop groups e.g. blinks/exols/..) & you got a bigger advance than the big3 debuts

altho many armys are bitter about txt, an even bigger part is supportive of hybe's youngest ones,

certainly in the beginning (which explains why their recent mv's and streams are lower than their first releases except for the song rm co wrote)

  • in Korea no but internationally yes. it is not a coincidence that txt and enhypen started doing better than all other kpop groups do on spotify upon debut, it's obvious they get help from armys no matter how much the fans deny it.

you can also see this when you look at these groups' youtube views, txt and enhypen are the only groups in the top 10 most streamed kpop groups in spotify whose youtube views don't match up to their streams. by kpop's standards, it is an anomaly for title tracks to have significantly less views than streams, it is a sign that those streams aren't entirely the work of fans.

  • They have the most company stans, so yes

    this!!cant agree more

  • No, it's the same. Bighit "privilege" is the same as literally any other big company. ya'll just overblow it because your deep rooted hate for bts and your need to project it onto anything remotely related to them.

no it's a sign people prefer to listen to their songs than to watch their music videos

why would armys stream those other groups

  • Yes, big hut privilege is bigger than the other 3 companies.

People who deny this are delulu

  • Of course there's privilege.

A lot of fans who like BTS and Bighit will be more open and accepting of other groups that are debuted by the same company.

Anyone who says or thinks otherwise, is not thinking clearly.
