Is this the Korean kidsbop?

The songs sounds good, the music video looks nice, the girls are all pretty, their voices don't sound that bad to me, the instrumental sounds fine. In theory, everything is fine, except for one thing: the obvious. They're kids. They shouldn't be doing stuff like this so young. They should be allowed to be kids first. Most trainees are older than them. Trainees are older than them!

Not only that, but there are a lot of negatives that come with being an idol that they shouldn't have to deal with so young (hate, online bullying, some members being preferred by others both by fans and the company, cultural appropriation, long workdays, dieting, exhausting singing, rapping and dancing practices and so much more). With all due respect, let them go home and practice first. Yes, they're good, but more practice never hurt anyone (if it's done carefully and responsibly that is). They can apply for companies after they are teenagers, then they can debut if they do well after that. Take it a step at a time.

Also, in case there is anyone wondering if it was their idea to debut so long or if they wanted to, I understand, but I'd still stand by my point. I don't know that I think they're ready to make such a decision on their own yet. Speaking of which, I wonder how their parents feel about this? Do they support them? Not really? Do they think they debuted too young or not really? I feel like that should be discussed as well.

When I have children, I'd be fine with them auditioning for companies and even becoming trainees if they want to, but only after they are around sixteen or so and I would never pressure them into it or not, it's their life, their decision and if they did it, I would support them, but also be wary and encourage them to make sure they stay safe and don't get hurt. I guess my final thoughts are that I like everything except for their age. Have a great day/night!
