    Approved the thread.
  • It will be a mild hit

  • Doesn't matter well or not, at this point I think true fans just wanted a comeback.

  • BP are still very big and they will keep being very popular for the next 2 years as minium, it helps they barely have cbs so the hype is bigger it's not like twice who are having cbs every month

  • well enough I guess, their korean charting is kinda irrelevant compared to ww numbers

  • national hit but their global numbers will be super massive for sure. no. 1 GG for a reason

  • depends on the type of song they release.

HYLT was a direct hit, IC was a flop & LSG was more a sleeper hit.. so yeah.

it does feel like the next comeback of 3rd gen groups is crucial for them? gp is moving to 4th gen & if one cb fails to impress them, they seem to be pretty much done with you (looking at previous top groups). altho, bp always has their international fans, so even a milder hit in korea will be okay.

Actually hylt and lsg are kind of the same hit wise. hylt had a bigger peak and lsg more longevity. Though hylt is still bigger and had more impact

    agree

thats what i meant with a sleeper hit, it didn't peak like hylt but it had better longevity

im actually curious if korean gp would be up for another HYLT 2.0?

would think they would be pretty much done with them, but its been almost 2years now since their last groups release. anything will do

I know fans complain about lack of music (rightfully so) but it works in their favor because the hype is big every time they comeback, they don't feel like your usual group, they feel like an older group having comebacks each 2/3 years. It's risky though, bigger hype vs people forgetting about you.

  • Their fans seem to like any songs they put out as long as it fits their usual taste of genre. So if they release songs like DDD, KTL and HYLT, it will be a guaranteed hit.

  • They are old. And I predict that their performance will be lukewarm on the Korean charts.

  • not very well. they will flop hard cos their hiatus was too long and all their fans have moved on to better and more talented groups who give frequent content

  • aespa will do better since aespa is the new digimon for gg in korea. they have charted 4 songs in top 10 melon
