Who has more media coverage: bg or gg?

    I don’t see too much content and also media coverage of gg.

    Are bg’s rated higher in the media or do they just outnumber the gg’s?

    Gg overall by far. There are more ggs that make the news, more it girls compared to it boys, ggs obviously do better on charts and often viral stories are about ggs/female idols (Sana went viral for simply saying Sha sha sha)

    Is this Korea or Internationally? Because I only ever see bg’s internationally and I have yet to see a Twice interview and they are on tour now.

    gg cause Gp cares more about most GG unless you are bts who does great things here in korea.

    Both. Korea is definitely ggs.


    Int is a bit harder because kpop as a whole isn't at the level where many groups are instantly recognised and media are lining up for interviews or cfs. The only 2 groups that get that level of attention are BTS and BP, a gg and bg so no real conclusion.


    But then things are skewed because they have different promotion styles internationally. Bgs tour much more so there more likelihood to be interviewed by the countries media, ggs tour less so less opportunities to appear in media.

    i think it in asia esp sea, you might see 2gen/3gen bgs/ggs still getting coverage here. but globally speaking its majorly only BTS not just for bgs but in general. korea still focuses on whoever that gets sensationalized.
