you can like a group for whatever reason you want (or a combination) - music, visuals, members interactions, personality, content etc etc

to some people it's going to be the music that does it for them...for others it's going to be something else

often it's going to be hard to gauge "It will not inspire any generation of new acts musically" because generations take time to go through and for new groups to emerge stating one way or another

This doesn’t apply to bts btw
