The Korean public has moved on to other groups other songs.

But then does it even matter, because we all know 9 member Twice is facing its final countdown. If they have one last group comeback with all members after the announcement it will be THE hit of 2022.

they have like 5 comebacks a year and still sell the highest out of all girlgroups aside from bp and they're doing well in japan.

You guys have been saying this since 2019 when their charting was falling off a little. The only song that didn't do well was Scientist. PAK is not what determines a hit song. Like Ohh-Ahh didn't get a PAK either if I remember correctly, but it's still one of Twice's biggest hits.

Exactly. This is how it happens, older groups lose popularity and success over time and new groups rise become popular and take over.

Older groups disband. Or not all members continue after contract expires and have other career and life interests.

TWICE almost end of contract now probably not all members will subscribe just like with other older JYP groups. Thats why JYP debuting so many girl groups now. To replace TWICE when they leave as top JYP gg.

Not sure if that will work.

Exactly. All stans will drag. Same for Once many many did drag when other ggs became big and huge popular and sucessful in this or that. Once pretend to forget but did huge fanwars and bashing other groups for many years.

Only now that noone can deny Blackpink better more sucessful they stay silent. War is over winner is clear.

But this is life. Older groups and fandoms grow old and start doing other things and new groups and fandoms rise and take over. This is takeover time. Time of chance for new groups to take empty spots at top.
