They just fight it just to see the cast's career take a hit, especially Jisoo. That minority of Knetz is the only one getting fired up when KCSC already review the plot & episodes of the drama and still decided to let the drama air. If there is really historical extortion, it is already being canceled like Joseon Exorcist.

It got cancelled because sponsors backed out and peoplenwere boycotting the show/network.
The company cancelled it to cut off their losses.

cancelling KE was an easy decision since they weren't finished filming and the pulling of the sponsors = no money to continue filming.
