Denmark is hard hit by Omikron. And tests 7 times more people than the US

  • interesting...

so it's infecting more people but the severity is around the same?

so it seems like the hospital system isn't really coping with the influx of new patients? like they weren't ready for such aggressive outbreak?

is your government planing on lockdowns or anything?

It’s multiplying the original virus tenfold. So it’s not a joke really and it will hit others too. They say in the article that Denmarks wave is two weeks ahead…now wait for Australia to have it :nob:

No one is ready for Omikron.

But no the virus I guess is the same but we went from 3 cases to 10000 in a few weeks (maybe even one?).

The UK PM is saying it’s a tidal wave and it can’t be stopped in the UK.

We have a lot of things locked down now: all culture, bars, clubs, schools.

    Merry Christmas.

  • holy shit that's serious...

it's been pretty good for my state...

we've gone now probably 20 months or so with 2 cases of community transmission...I am so glad to be living here with a gov that gives a damn....we don't even have to wear masks outside or inside!!!!

but damn those numbers don't look promising - take care of yourself my friend...stay safe!!!!

  • Well it is mostly a capital/big city problem. Not a problem in rural areas where people density is less.

    Trying but thanks
