Is it a red flag if someone keeps misspelling your name?

My 2nd name is Sophia, but there are randomly toooooooo many people who think it's Sophie

People misspell and mispronounce my name all the time and so I'm not even bothered at this point in my life. I feel like friends, family and coworkers get spicier about it than I do. LOL I am mindful that there might be other aspects happening there - I had an older coworker who confessed at happy hour that they struggled with my name due to language issues (we came up with a nickname that was easier) and I worked with another person who told me at a different happy hour about how embarrassed they had been that day at work when someone snarked on their spelling errors on the white board because they were dyslexic.

All of which is to say that sometimes there may be something underlying it that is not a personal slight against you.

I think it really depends on context.

I have a short, average name in the US and my teachers would misspell it even when it was right in front of them. They also loved me as a student, so I never knew what to think.
