danced based idol groups with weak vocals shouldn't exist. the music comes first, performance is secondary

  • With the prevalence of lip-syncing, companies learned that idols don't need to sing, they can just fake it. But they can't fake dancing, so they have to be good dancers.

  • Sm groups have good vocals but never sing live. Ask them why. Performances separate kpop from other music industries. If you want to hear good vocals I can recommend 10× better vocalists than kpop vocalists. Kpop vocals are all average at best.

  • U said the music comes first so what if they have great music?

Never?Shall i give u videos of their artists singing live?U should use words like 'rarely' rather than 'never'.

Music doesn't just mean vocal, it also instrumental or sound of form in some sort of way. You might confused it with being a singer? I mean you can just google magic for the dictionary of the word :eyes::eyes:

  • If you want vocal based singers and groups stan western artists. Kpop groups were always about more then just vocals. If anything it got better. There is a reason why the “Idols can’t sing” label was stuck on kpop groups for so long.

  • there are plenty of idol groups that can sing live well and dance well

  • This is why itzy and almost every kpop group is a joke to my friends in America no one takes kpop seriously because they don’t think any of them can really sing… we prefer vocal talent than dancing. I think Korea is more balanced in both tho

  • Groups with "weak vocals" still release music and their vocal color can appear to a lot of people who like their music more than groups with "strong vocals", so I'm not understading the point. It's not like they are voiceless.

Everyone should bow down to the superior Americans and test itzy as a joke regardless of how much you like their music

EXO and RV better than BTS and BP vocally but look who is more popular in the west

west likes kpop mostly due to its dance/performance/entertainment aspect since they have many talented singers of their own and kpop music is nothing new to them cus its basically korean version of mainstream "pop" music

Lol Keep telling yourself BTS and BP are taken serious in America :pepe-joy: No one takes kpop serious in America it’s embarrassing. BTS and BP are always made fun off and disrespected. The fact they’re average to below average talent doesn’t help.
