Popularity wise, sales wise Taeil is one of the least popular and sales for his merch/jewel case always seem to be last while Haechan is quite popular. Both are main vocalists, both are I guess equally visually attractive and charming/funny so if Taeil gets pushed more he can be very popular like Haechan?

No, taeil is nice and I like him, but he's not the type of member you would want to push out, he has nice vocals, but not really super interesting. He might end up like wendy, releasing ballad after ballad because they have no marketable personality, this isn't to say taeil is boring, as a person I like his humor, but haechan is way more interesting as a soloist and member.
