Help me understand ifan logic

A big controversy with accusations happens and it causes an idol to stop activities and go into "reflection". The company and idol make multiple statements declaring how sorry they are for what they have done. They don't dwell on the specifics for obvious reasons. Yet it seems a lot of ifans use the vagueness of the situation to fabricate in their minds a convoluted conspiracy theory that makes the idol completely innocent. I wonder if it's just pure delusion or are they really 'trolling'?
