I always find it amazing because he’ll keep pushing and pushing even when the producer or songwriter think it’s great. I’ve also seen enough of these recording sessions by now to realize how difficult the parts they have him sing. There’s a reason everyone looked at him on the Sticker reveal and said it’s a song only he could sing.

There’s a reason that the very talented Neos hold him in such high respect. Here he is outside of the studio doing karaoke. I really love the second clip because they’re all just hanging out and playing ping pong and drinking beer and Haechan is hyped because he knows what’s coming but the others are still blown away by this dude they’ve been singing with for 8 years.

And here (less showy but still lovely). Many of the Weishens (WayV) have known him less time, as has Sungchan, so they are completely transfixed, (esp Xiaojun, one of WayV’s main vocalists). But even the members who have heard him sing this a lot over the years (he used to sing this song with SM Rookies shows with 127 and Dream), they all just stop to enjoy his voice when they were previously running around and being chaotic.
