What's stopping hybe from not giving BTS solo gigs

They're probably the only senior group rn without any individual activities even seventeen is getting solo gigs after contract renewal.?? I fear txt is going to get solo before BTS at this rate.

(Now dont tell me they're not getting ost, collab, acting and modeling offers 🤣🤣)

My guess is that they want to prevent the members ever leaving, or at least getting in situations where it's difficult to promote with all members.

The fact there are 7 members is integral to the BTS brand.

At this point I'm sure hybe is scared that some member is going to outshine the group and solo stans (of probably maknae line) might bycott ot7 activities. Same case as Lisa's.

Probably with them blowing up as a group its better to promote together

Plus with the militiary coming in 2 years time I think they will start individual activities then

A very genius move would be making the maknae line release actual albums instead of mixtapes for their solo works when the older members enlist, it will generate so much hype for BTS even when the group is inactive

They are pushing this "OT7" narrative way too much. I like it that they're putting the group first, but I would love to see how they would grow as individuals as well.

At this rate, I think even Yeonjun is gonna have a solo debut before anybody in BTS maknae line. I think their solo activities might start after the members begin going to the military, but it's already seems too late.

Actually i feel the same no hate i love txt but hybe now a days pushing "4th gen it boy" narrative too much so i guess they might actually give him solo soon.

I don't think they'll release solo albums and promote them they might free release mixtapes after jin's enlistment. I'd be real mad if jin ends up joining military without any promoted solo track

Firstly, they'd go solo if they wanted. Secondly, where exactly do you think they can find time for solo projects? Don't you know their schedule? Unpromoted mixtapes are the most they can do now.

V recorded a solo ost on his friend's request and jin is going to record one too. Jhope flied to LA to record MV. Suga just released a mixtapes with an MV so why cant they they have official solos?

I know that they'll most likely do mixtapes since JK and V talk about releasing mixtapes but I really think it will be a great idea to do an actual solo album it will be better for all fans and non fans

I think Jin will join the military and after he is discharged he will release his solo and I think its better for him especially if hes not actively making songs to release them currently since I dont recall him talking about this like what was the case with JK and V and if he releases after he will have a better time to develop it

It's important to their image that all 4 members have different, archetypical personas. Solos just strengthen those.

It’s not their brand. Their brand has always been all of them. Even the CFs were managed that way. If Jin enlists, then they’ll do solo work. If he ends up being completely exempt, solos will still be years away.

they can release solo projects if they want, nobody is stopping them. jhope flew to LA, he used his vacation time to film a video. all solo stuff you mentioned including CNS was unpromoted.

there's no time. do you really think that with their schedule they can officially go solo? they can go solo only if they put the group's activities on hold. and it seems that for now they don't want to do that.

that's the image that they (bighit and most probably even bts) want to promote. Besides, they have always said that they're busy. And I don't think that bighit can stop them if they want to. Lmao

Because one of the main and important reason why BTS has become THE BTS is that army's ot7 stans overpower the Akgaes.

Secondly, I don't think so BTS needs to go solo just because other companies doing it. Their group dynamics> going solo.

Thirdly, BTS actually cares about music and they don't need to force themselves to go solo.

Hybe is not making bts do anything. With the amount of time BTS have said and addressed the going solo talks you would think fans or akgaes or antis realize that this is a group decision. They choose to prioritize the group because BTS is growing at an insane pace even in their 8th year.

I'm almost sure they will start solo activities in full force once they start peaking or if they have to go to the military.

Yall really think they dont want any solo activities? Watch one of them leave the group for solo if hybe doesnt chnage their ways. At one stage u get tired of all these group activities no matter how well your group is doing ( 1D was at peak when zayn left).
