otherwise I wouldn't mind being a fan of a musical group with members who aren't that attractive, but when it comes to kpop it's a bit different

although most idols look better than the average person

especially my faves they're handsome and pretty and hot

and at the end of the day looks aren't entirely subjective. i mean thousands of people find Jimin attractive but he's not my personal taste, for example.
