President Biden announces that USA will withdraw troops from Yemen, also says Myanmar generals to surrender power

  • Pretty interesting, Biden represents older generations well, and he seems to doesn't like idea of Russia, and China doing whatever they want to.

  • so as usual the US get to do whatever it wants but not no one else ?

well, at least he ain't saying that he will bomb, intervene, send troops here or there...

it's better to talk things through, as for me he should pick smaller evil and meet with one of the Chinese or Russian presidents...

for now, as someone from central/eastern EU for me, it would be important if Biden met with Cichanouska, you know the lady which was a presidential candidate in Belarus but she was robbed of a win because of current so-called president Lukashenka faking whole shit...

i think he should put his own house in order before critisising others

this is normal in politics, he has at least full year to blame Trump for anything bad that happened/will happen

    because he will say:

"it is all because of Trumps politics, he made a nation acting this way"

and he will be right with that + you can't change everything that you won't asap, this takes times.

that's true... but my point is i guess he should focus on domestic issues first before throwing his weight around internationally

  • You are too naive... His main compaign was to "solve problems" on West Balkan. Thank you very much, but stay away as far as you can!

I already see disaster coming our way...

Overall, the powerfull countries are doing only things that are good for them. And make conflict between other countries to benefit themselves.

Imo, USA did double more and worse things around the world than Russia and China together. I can be baised through (bc my country and people suffered n times thanks to the USA). Like Russia and China at least do things near them, while USA did something bad in every part of the world.

but he needs to make clear what he would like to work with globally, he won't withdraw "peace" troops from Germany which means he will like to work with Western European countries.

Let's hope he will also be ok with building any connection with the UK.

In same time I'd rather see him staying on Greece side in potential conflict with Turkey.

yes i'm not saying he shouldn't have an international policy but the issue is about priorities...when you have the amount of shit that the US is in right now...why the hell would you want to focus on international issues...

but in essence yes he should extend an olive branch to other countries pissed off with the US that i agree with

Those two aren't mutually exclusive. The president do both. What these press conferences do is just set expectations what the tone of his administration will be as far as foreign policy is concerned.
