If you haven’t heard already, BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Jung Ho Yeon are actually the best of friends. While Squid Game was Jung Ho Yeon’s first job as an actress, the two have been BFFs since her model days. Over the years, they’ve snapped photos of themselves hanging out together, cooking together, and more.

So, perhaps it should come as little surprise that Jennie returned the favor while Jung Ho Yeon was shooting Squid Game—and she was so supportive that the actress deemed her idol bestie an “angel.”
“Jennie has been extremely excited for me since I told her that I got the role for ‘Squid Game,’” said Jung Ho Yeon, expressing her deep appreciation for her friend. “She sent me a coffee truck and hyped me up in her Instagram stories,” she continued, referencing the truck Jennie sent to her way back in July 2020.
Jung Ho Yeon went on to say that Jennie is “really supportive,” adding that she’s “forever grateful” for Jennie’s support. “I’m so moved by how genuinely happy she has been for me through this whole thing,” the actress gushed, “she’s a literal angel
