Do you keep track of the stats of groups you don't stan?

  • I have no knowledge about the stats of groups I don't stan but for some reason I see members of other fandoms who obviously dislike my faves, following and monitoring my faves' stats. I just want to understand the logic behind this behaviour :pepepizza:

    Approved the thread.
  • waste of time. I do see some people do that though. I cannot fathom why.

  • yes i do. I find stats interesting and there's nothing wrong with keeping up with stats from groups you dont stan also.

  • i don't even look at the stats for the groups i stan

im just here for the bops 2x

  • No, I don’t even keep track of the ones I stan

  • Twice i think. but i only did that for alcohol free

  • No

But some are so loud about their faves achivements I memorize it unintentionally

  • maybe confront them why they do that. i don't get it as well.

for me, i like stats and charting. but, as a fan of a lot of groups, i have so much to keep up to track of already. idc about another act's charting unless i see it involuntarily in akp or twitter timeline. 🤔

i will not voluntarily search charting of acts that are not my faves

  • waste of time. I do see some people do that though. I cannot fathom why.

i think you guys are acting childish.

If someone makes a thread 'stayc debuts at #7 on Melon' are we not allowed to click out of curiosity?

What is this unwritten 'rule' only fans can speak on their faves achievement? I personally find it very interesting checking up on the charts and how the music industry is going.

People can do and say what they want honestly.

  • i dont keep up with stats but when a fandom keeps flooding the forum about the faves songs then dont get mad at me when i give my opinion.

    It is a forum afterall.

  • Thank you. I wanna know who this reasonable person is

  • Nothings wrong about commenting on other people's achievements but half the time people on AKP check stats of other groups is to bash them. It's okay to not like songs but it's just weird to put that much energy into a group you don't stan

  • Yes if they’re doing well it’s fun to see the progression but if they’re flopping then no

  • I don't think that's what they're talking about. Obviously if someone makes a thread you're gonna know even if you're not a fan. I think they're talking about the people who claim they don't like x group yet know how many monthly listeners they have on every single music platform, know their highest charting positions, which country has the most sales, etc at the drop of a hat without having to look them up. I don't even think sports fans stay that obsessed with other teams.

It's one thing to follow charts, but it's something else when you seem fixated on the way a group is performing when you're not a fan.

  • no but if some of em call my faves flop i search and bring those

  • oh please..... I don't even have energy to know about my fave charting and achievements,
there are too many achievement they broke every single day :pepelove2:

  • Why do i instantly know which fandom does this

can you give an example of a user who does this? if not then you're clearly exaggerating.
