It comes from a place of insecurity where they feel (or think) they are inferior to the woman they are in a relationship with and they lash back.

I would say they are either cowards or abusers.

At least with incels you spot them right away and can avoid them… but many women trapped in an abusive relationship got deceived.

I feel like this is only an excuse to justify shitty male people who only want a relationship to compensate things that their life or themself lack. Most of the time, these people are then just directing their frustrations towards their wife
