I'm actually glad... because the difference between 1 tomboy and other cute/sexy girls is kind of too much
they managed to do it well with The9 thanks to Yuxin, K Lu, and Kiki or Yu Yan mixin things also with shorter hair
but on the other hand I'm happy that in BonBon Girls Zhao Yue can basically do whatever she wants with her hair and no one expected her to keep short hair

maybe it was Mnet who decided that they didn't want a tomboy type person...I mean I'm sure some of them auditioned for it and maybe the producers said nope...not suited for the final lineup?????

Zhao Yue has short hair but she is the farthest thing from a Tomboy. Girls see her body as equisitely female. Nene said so explicitly. lol
On 7Senses, the Tomboy role is taken up by Diamond more often than not.
