I’m 10 episodes in and my god this drama is good. Watching this drama and it’s depth of characters made me realize just how good a character driven drama can be.
Honestly I thought I’d be bored looking at the synopsis but nope.
This drama is all heart.
And at its core it has a stunning writing team. Propelled by an amazing acting performance by nam koongmin.
For those who don’t know stove league is about a brilliant general manger who takes change of a failing baseball team that has been consistently placing last in their league. It’s less about baseball of itself and more about what happens in the corporate landscape behind it.
It’s supported by a wonderful cast playing characters that have a lot of depth and heart.
I highly recommend this drama. Like 10/10. Stove leave also won the Baeksang Award for best drama in 2020.
...I keep forgeting this drama but now I will surely catch up ..am happy u r exploring other genre of korean dramas now...
