i hope they're done with it it's not a good song and the best performances were the first two. unlike dynamite, they haven't been improving on performances with styling and staging as they go along

And it definitely does not help that they are releasing Permission to dance in two weeks on July 9th?!! Everything about this comeback has just felt like an afterthought.

The only thing semi-okay about Butter is Columbia doing 1/4th of their job with radio but it still feels like Butter wasn't their intended track they would promote heavily like Dynamite. Dynamite got Samsung, Hyundai, Fortnite, etc plus almost performed over 40 times! Was releasing so close to Festa and the immediate shift to their next single, Permission To Dance, unfair to Butter? Again I loved that most of their energy this year for Festa has been great,

but it really does feel like Butter got the short end of the stick with LIVE performances and general hype for the fandom compared to Dynamite's run. Anyone else feeling the same way as me? AKP ARMY, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Another thing to mention is the release of the Japanese compilation album.

They've done 3 Film Out performances on Japanese shows along with some long interviews.

I think they've proved they don't need constant performances of a song to keep themselves afloat.

Dynamite was a bit of an overkill imo, but maybe it was because that was because of the Grammys. Permission to dance might not be promoted as a single but they will still have been preparing things for its release, it's BTS after all and they are never not working on something.
