I think the chinese goverment has killed the growth of Cpop's idol culture.

maybe it's true but when you have such things as the milk pouring stuff then the chinese government is going to step in and put an end to it...

Also there are articles about the "effeminization" of the Chinese population because of idol culture.

So I guess they'll pour more resources into toxic masculinity shit like war movies and first person shooter games.

That said, there seems to be a lot of Thai postings on Twitter that Chuang 2022 is happening (albeit with a different voting format) and they are already discussing candidates they want to be in 2022. Don't know how accurate they are.
