From what I have seen he is trying to promote but M-Net and a few others have denied his requests to participate on music shows for not "being the idol type". Like I get he is not technically an idol but neither are the two artists I mentioned above either. (I love Jay and Zico, this is no hate toward them).

That's good question, i like his music. I feel like his type of artists are often underappreciated + don't know how R&B/Soul does with general public in South Korea.

He definitely needs better promotion. And maybe also some other content to show himself a bit more to people. He was recently on DIVE podcast GET REAL, more of this kind of things would be good + more content on his Youtube channel maybe.
