Idk but at the time a lot of blinks didn't like it because it was "a DDDD rip off", also it didn't do as well on Korean charts (mostly because of burning scandal we suppose) so many jumped on the "hate" wagon. Actually it did super amazing on an international level, even more than DDDD I think, and it helped to grow the fandom considerably.
Today I think there's not much hate left but it still isn't well talked about. I know the chorus can be a bit too aggressive to stream, but like, everything else in the song is super gold and the MV is gorgeous (my favourite as well). It's not like it's uncomfortable chorus either, so I don't get the hate, well I don't think it's rational hate at least
