Who all watches Card Captor Sakura?

Do you mean S1 x S2 x S3 or do you mean the first run from 98 to 00 vs 2018?
If you mean the first case, I don't recall much as it was over a decade ago I watched and read CCS. I think S1 and S2 were about the same. S1 was kinda Pokemon-ish, S2 had rivalry stuff, S3 shake up things a bit till the end. It's pretty episodic, as a whole maybe some weak episodes around S2 to S3, but pretty consistent otherwise.
Now if it's first run vs the 2018 arc, the first run still has the classic feel to it while the 2018 is a competent continuation, but I don't think it elevates the series that much. It was more for the fans. So in this case the first run is better IMO.
