    Well, that nobody is commenting except for me, who has been following them, gives you a indication if people are interested or not. More of the latter.


    If they were from a known company and broadcast on Genie, 1thek or even Super Sound Bugs, maybe Kpop fans would check them out.

    While I'm interested in the idea of Vietnamese idols, I'm spoiled by the expectations on K-pop idols.


    Of the ones posted here, I feel like I've seen a lot of Vietnamese girls that are way more attractive irl in both the US and Vietnam. That said, when I visited Vietnam, I got the feeling of Korea in the 90's. My guess is that within a decade, the training and talent pool for entertainment there will greatly improve. The explosion of cover groups I see on YouTube is promising.


    I don't know if it's just me, but I see so many Viet cover groups on YT. I barely see any Indonesian ones even though they are big consumers according to YT stats. Is this a cultural thing or have I not trained YT to show me Indo groups?

    Actually, the Indonesian was more active on cover dance (before COVID) and occasionally threw big cover dance contest. Possibly, you didn't see much of cover dance in public video from the country because Indonesian groups were contest focused.     Why was this moved here? This project is for the vietnamese market, not Korea. Everything is in vietnamese. There is not even korean text. So shouldn't it have stayed in the Asian Entertainment section?

    If it was only marketed towards the Vietnamese market, the trainees would have never needed to learn Korean but they have to learn Korean.

    NiziU is a Japanese K-pop girl band and a Japanese J-pop girl band. NiziU released their songs in Korean and Japanese.


    And SB Entertainment recently began releasing Korean subtitles on their videos by beginning with the first videos that they released.


    If you look at their Facebook posts, they posted that they were looking for translators who known Korean and Vietnamese.


    All of this mean that they also want to target the South Korean market.
