Why did people here downplay Rosé's international achievements?

She is the highest charting korean solo artist on BB Hot 100 after PSY. And she achieved that with just a debut.

There are hardly any kpop groups who ever charted on Hot 100 but Rosé could do it just as a solo act! Everyone was way too focused on the album sales or Korean charts, bc that's the only place where their faves could compete with her. But even there, they ended up being clowns.

I mean I already mentioned it on the thread. There were several threads about her charting on Korean charts and doubting R's success in Korea. I also remember the huge debates around the album sales when she already achieved a huge feat on a single's chart itself.

Of course, there was praise but her achievements were still kinda downplayed. Especially the international ones where she was strong.

It was not an OT4 song. Of course, it wouldn't do as well as a song like Ice Cream. Her achievements as a debut artist were already huge. She's literally just after PSY on the chart.
