Did Wendy’s solo flop?

It’s already out of the Melon charts and it hasn’t even been two weeks so i can safely say it was NOT a hit in South Korea.

She’s doing really good in album sales, she already hit 120k albums sold on hanteo.

At the moment it’s at 8.9M views on youtube.

What do you think?

Flop is when you have only sold 900 copies and get 10K views on YT.

It just wasn't the K-pop we're used to hearing. International fans tend not to care about ballads all that much; the EP / mini album was ballad-heavy. The best track for mainstream success would be "Why Can't You Love Me?"

Chaesoocrumbs requested it to be moved from K-News, Gossip & Rumors to K-Lounge, but I figured K-POP Music would be the better category.

it's strange because the korean gp actually seem to prefer ballads as opposed to international fans... therefore, a ballad can actually do better in south korea mostly. i'm not seeing the reason why it flopped.
