US Keystone XL pipeline - Biden's China 1st policy.

Keystone XL pipeline would pump crude oil from Canada to refineries in Texas, US. There already are several pipelines along the route, keystone would increase capacity. Environmentalist have stopped sections to be permitted. Biden 1st executive decisions stopped construction. The pipeline is owned by Canada, constructed by the US. Canada Plan B is a Pipeline along their Southern boarder to the West Coast. Oil fill Oil Freighters and shipped to China to be refined. Canada wants their Crude Oil to be sold as refined fuels but doesn't have refineries(probably because of environmental concerns). They will not be stopped to transport the oil to a Refinery, It is one way or another.

Politics is environmentalists who protest more fossil fuel production. Will see no success with stopping the pipeline to the coast and China refineries. Canada wins, China wins and the US loses. Is this a bigger factor in Biden's stopping the Keystone XL pipeline? Chalk up a China win for Biden. US Jobs and refinery profits lost. Environmental exposure increases a million fold due to potential Ocean oil spills.

If you want to credit Trump about Keystone XL. No brainer economic move for Jobs and profit from Refinery services. Canada is going to transport their oil to refineries by any means. Might as well do it here.

Yes - US is a net positive Exporter of fossil fuels. US doesn't need Canadian oil for themselves.

Obama could be credited in making US a net positive oil exporter. Also He didn't appear to have the same Chinese corruption as Clinton. But Biden was wheeling and dealing on the side as the VP.
