That's absolutely disgusting was she still a minor then?
It was early 2017 I think, so yeah I think she was 17 then.

I think this can be said about any industry, not just the idol world. People are people at the end of the day. Some hold themselves to a high moral standard while others don’t.
You could even say the same about teacher-student situations in schools. There can be rules and regulations, but there’s no real way to completely prevent things from happening. It has happened since forever and we’ve always known it was a problem.

The male staff was not from JYP. He was part of the event staff at the marathon that Twice was making an appearance at.
Still disgusting behavior though.
Please elaborate. I don't know anything about the idols you mentioned.
was wondering the same
Jessica groped/touched by KBS executive
Staff tried to sneakily take photo or recording of Winter's butt
Staff recorded Nancy changing clothes, she might have been semi-nude
wait what happened to Jessica
was wondering the same
Jessica was groped in public by a KBS head guy with lots of people around him. Really shows how even a group like SNSD can be victim to it and nothing will be done about it or even addressed because some people are too powerful to face any repercussions for their actions

Damn, Hyoyeon looked like she about to throw a fists.
like others have said not exclusive to kpop
it will happen in every industry/field/profession where there exists an imbalance of power.
The question about what one does about it is interesting since due to the imbalance of power the court of public opinion seems to be the "current" avenue for a lot of accusations with prosecution...
since in a court of law (assuming korean law has has beyond reasonable doubt) one needs to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that someone touched you or acted inappropriately towards you and if you can't do that or don't have the evidence...you're out of luck
I’ve watched a video about a former staff who left the industry and one of her reasons is bc idols are treated like gods and you need to do whatever they say and sometimes it can be really demeaning. But then the same idols not protected in situations like this or like Lisa’s. Their world is truly unexplainable
