Just thinking in general not about the groups now.. like if 2nd gen accounted for digitals in Asia and for album of the year prize. Results might be diffeeent and could be different for the next gen

I think it's harder for girl groups to get fans to buy your albums. JYP once said boy groups need to get fans and girl groups need to get the public.
But basically I am against making extra rules for women. SNSD also managed to win Album of the Year once. Against boys. Girl groups at that time are just unlucky that BTS sells so much. But other boy groups don't stand a chance either, so should we discriminate BTS to let other groups win?

Having a best female and male performance category is ok. That’s good enough. But artist of the year and other main awards should not be split into male and female.
Ngl it makes it seem like women can’t compete on the same field and kinda humiliating.
