They'd probably get more promos. However the members are japanese so they would still face discrimination from Koreans.

I think as more KPOP companies make these KPOP/JPOP groups, it will open the door to JPOP groups.

JYP has NiziU + BG version this year

Produce has JO1 which is quite popular

HYBE is making a BG either 21 or 22

SM making NCT Japan

i mean maybe though it'd be smarter to debut as a jpop group than kpop group, most kpop stans want kpop groups to have mostly koreans and throw in one or two foreign members.

I think them getting hate is ridiculous, they donate so much of their money to charity, are fantastic to their fans and genuinely love music, there is no reason to judge them for doing legal work to make money the way they know how. Many of the members also used the JAV funds to go to college and get bachelors and masters degrees. They are extremely inspiring and respectable.
