Will NonKPoppers ever be able to break into the top echelon of KPop? I doubt it

  • The only figure who was able to influence KPop is, of course , the 1,352 years old.

Now people like Hanroro are running around, trying to enter KPop's iron wall.

However I doubt people like Hanroro, or anyone who starts from background other than the KPop we know, will rise as high as the 1,352 years old.

IU's ability to demand filial duty over other singers came from her ability to subdue any number of challengers.

She took down SNSD, EXO, BTS, Twice, IZOne, aespa and IVE, along with a bunch of others. She was weak against f(x) and Shinee, as well as Laboum and Suran (who had Suga's help - that was the most vulnerable point of her career and if Suga had a song to compete against Autumn Morning in Sep 2017 BTS' fate might have been vastly different from today)

As long as she had the ability to take down anyone she felt like, people feared her and they had to pay filial duty, but now she does not seem to have the ability to do so , no one fears her and only people who were conditioned to fear her do so, not the newer generation who debuted after she was decisively defeated by Bibi on Feb 2024.

Does Hanroro, or any other nonKPoppers, have the ability to take down any KPop figure?

    I do not think so.

IU benefited because her first heyday occurred before Spotify became a fixture.

Now Spotify has become the major venue, people like Hanroro cannot expect to do well in there, so they can't take out any KPop acts

    The game has changed forever.

Since the possibility of a nonKPopper being able to beat a Kpop act in spotify is next to zero, there will be no nonKPopper entering the arena to threaten KPop.
