  • Rosé on her Grammy nominations -

History of first Korean K-pop artist. That means a lot to me because I don't think I ever saw on television somebody that looks like me. Never in a million years would I have thought that this would happen to be nominated for a Grammy. Most importantly, I feel like the song that is being celebrated and being nominated for the Grammy contains so much of my culture in it. That proves to myself so much. It proves to me also that culture is loved.

Different cultures are being accepted. Yes, it might sound like a silly drinking game but I feel like that could become a song that brings so many people joy.Everyone has been enjoying it so much and I've been watching that and it's really just blown my mind away. And so it means so much to myself, my younger self who grew up feeling like that would not be a possibility and it means a lot that APT is the one that is being celebrated so much. I'm really, really grateful and a little bit like shook. I don't even know what to say. I'm like, oh my gosh.

Changed the title of the thread from “ROSÉ & Bruno Mars’ “APT.” ranks at #9 on the 2025 Billboard Hot 100 Year-End chart (first Kpop soloist)” to “ROSÉ & Bruno Mars’ “APT.” ranks at #9 on the 2025 Billboard Hot 100 Year-End chart (first Kpop act)”.
  • This just shows that APT is only behind GS in terms of impact imo.

Rosé did what nobody could've done and with a song that it was her idea! Truly revolutionary and after everything BP had to go through with so many doubting and hating them, I'm just happy the girls and specially Rosé, are showing that they aren't in the music industry for nothing, they want to be here and they'll do their best to give their best!
