A controversial thoughts on why korean companies recruits japanese to their survival shows

  • I been watching survival shows for years and there is a pattern that I notice: Evil editing on the japanese trainees to make them look bad. Making koreans look superior to japanese even though the japanese are really talented. Refusing to give the japanese spotlight. In some rare occassions the korean agency gives in because of social media backlash. Point is: I think the koreans deliberately take in japanese because they know they can push them around without any consequences. I'm not saying every korean companies does that, but the majority are. That's why it pisses me off everytime the koreans say they won't bring politics and history in their shows, but in reality they do.

I see a lot of evil editing and favoritism against Chinese trainees as well. This is why I stopped watching survival shows.

  • I think you have a point but I would think it's more of a pride thing. Koreans want korean trainees to shine and win and when they see a more talented japanese or chinese they bring them down. 😔
