W korea under fire for "stealing" donations ??

  • Honestly, the witch hunt against the people attending is kind of dumb. It's a charity gala and the celebs are there to create awareness. Actual fundraising is the job of the company behind it. If they fail then it's the companies fault, not the guests invited.

I've seen this event for so many years but I had no idea it was for breast cancer 💀. Like damn the branding was so off.

  • They can already kiss their next charity event next year goodbye.

I'm more shocked by the hate idols receive for having fun.

Okay, Jay Park's songs aren't appropriate and they should have talked more about breast cancer, but don't blame them for having fun, it's still a party... They're already suffocated by the perfect image they're supposed to sell every day.

  • The fact the first instinct for most of you is to instantly jump to defence mode for the idols is pretty telling. If I attended an event raise awareness for cancer even if it wasn't in the event invitation I would post about it to actually raise awareness. Not one of them did that. W Korea deserve 99% of the criticism especially if they're donating less then what they receive for the event but the celebs deserve a little for not trying to raise awareness for the event they attended for free.

  • I mean its not for no reason though is it. They went to a charity event to raise awareness for breast cancer and none of them have done that and they've done is post dress pics. They do deserve some criticism for that. Obviously W Korea deserve all the hate and are at fault for this but the celebs don't get a free pass.

Celebs have 1 job, promoting the event so they can raise money, that's all. And maybe donate as well.

Which they did not do. That is the point none of them have promoted or posted a link to the event to raise money and awareness.

    Except it isn't. It's a fundraising event.
