Even with the hiatus, their Spotify numbers are still solid. They’re currently the 3rd for kpop gg with the most listeners overall and first in 4th gen. They're also so far the most streamed kpop gg overall in Spotify Japan and Korea, and second for gg on Spotify USA. Kinda funny how people used to yell ‘payola,’ but more than a year later (with no new music and all the legal mess with the biggest Kpop company), they’re still holding their spot.
Their stats in Korea are strong too, from Circle points to streams. We all know this. And on TikTok, you still see new trends popping up with their songs or choreos every now and then. It’s like even if they’re MIA, but fans never let the hype die.
They also managed to sell 200k albums this year just from their old catalog, which says a lot.
Honestly, they’re such a solid group. Even with everything going on, it just teach me that people genuinely love their music not just because it's a trend. I used to think their songs wouldn’t last and people would move on quickly (and let’s be real, a lot of folks here thought the same). But I was wrong. The craziest part is they pulled all this off in under 2 years when it took others years. They already built a legacy in such a short time. That’s legendary.
