In the manga/anime Oshi no Ko, at the end, most of the main characters including Aquamarine die.
Ruby, the fake heroine (the real heroine was her mother Ai), mourns Aqua's death for a short time, but at the final scene she goes out performing, smiling, as if nothing had happened, showing Aqua died for nothing.
The authors of that manga, realizing what they had done, added a few more sequences when the manga was put into a book, but the damage could not be undone. (The anime has not reached that stage yet)

After two consecutive defeats under the hands of 10cm and Huntr/x the former Senior singer of Kpop, who terrorized KPop by abusing her status as the Senior Singer to the fullest and flaunting the rules of game at will, should have realized that her heyday is now history and the 4.5th generation now treats her as a has been, a non entity.
Instead, she sang Heart, which was realized without warning when she was in the drama Producers, and Autumn Morning, again releasing without a notice, and defeated BTS at Melon.
It is clear that she is missing the days when she could release anything and guarantee she would reach #1 in Melon without too much effort or promotion.
Huntr/x has basicall ended KPop, including her, and she was proven to be ineffective against Kpop Demon Hunters.
But the Uaenas who assembled at her fan meeting failed to point out that she is not what she used to be, her strategy is wrong and the 4.5th gen is no longer respecting her as the Senior Singer and treats her like a has been.
Instead of riding into the sunset, she expressed her plans to release a regular album in 2026, presumably for a concert run in 2027 when she turns 1,354 years old, not realizing her stranglehold on Kpop was permanently crushed by APT. and Golden.
She seems to be unwilling to recognize the cold fact that there is no respect on her by the 4.5th gen at all and the younger ones would rather see her gone.
It is not known whether BTS has the same kind of arrogance and unwillingness to change their ways, but it should realize that KPop Demon Hunters did change the rules once for all beyond any sense of doubt.
