I think they're realizing that they're less relevant for music now than they used to be, so they have to attract the more fanatic fans (not just in Kpop).

I don't think this is going to be that easy, tho. I'm sure there's a catch in this. So far, it's only available in like 5 or 6 countries, and I'd bet, after some time, it's gonna be a paid feature knowing Google.😂

Yeah, and this isn't just for music, you can do this to any Youtube creator.
I'll give them a couple of months and they will announce, you can do this for everyone. Now, that's when all hell breaks loose.

I've seen multiple fandoms doing fundraising, including MAMAMOO fans, so they can pay for YT ads.
