Ikon's stage names don't make sense

for example DK (there's already a DK in Seventeen) ....

... and Jay is the most confusing .... there's Jay Park ... Jay of Enhypen .... and in spoken language, there's also Jae (former Day6), J (Stayc)

that's not true? they changed their stage names in 2017

Donghyuk started going by DK around 2017 when YG rebranded iKON with simpler stage names to appeal more globally. It was part of a bigger image shift—like Jinhwan becoming Jay and Yunhyeong going by Song. Apparently, the members weren’t even consulted about the changes, which led to some confusion and mixed reactions from fans at the time.
