SM have been leaking teasing the song for us for so long now it got me thinking:
1) It's 2025 and we still have english lyrics being poorly pronounced by idols. How come labels allow it? Isn't it harmful to the globalization process of a kpop group? I mean, people inside the kpop bubble (us, kpop fans), we're used to decades of mispronounciation. But what about the targeted general public? Mispronounced words provoke a cringe feeling on listeners that aren't regular listeners of the kpop genre. And nope, there' nothing to do with the fact that english isn't, most of the time, the native language of kpop idols. As long as one practices, it's 100% possible to pronounce anything in any language properly.
2) SM is giving off 2010's JYP 'I'll spoil the chorus of the song before its release' promotion method. It's taking too long and it feels like I already know the song. Could it impact the comeback? Or do you think it's a good way to create hype? I don't remember aespa's comebacks being this exposed to the audience in such advance.
I just want the song to be released already! This backwards line of releases got me nervous
