Just watched BTS - "Forever We Are Young" Documentary!

  • No, it's not in theaters officially, I think they only showed it at a Film Festival, but now Trafalgar bought the rights, and of course, they asked me again to work on it. This is my 3rd or 4th BTS movie. Even tho, I'm not an ARMY. 😅

The movie kinda made me emotional, because it was pretty good, it covered pretty much every important part of their career, even the toxic part of the fandom. That bit was surprising, not gonna lie.

I don't know anything about official release date, but I think they will release it in a month or so, probably.

I can't share anything else, obviously, because I don't want to get in trouble with Trafalgar Release.

ArmyTaglist how many of you watched it at SXSW Festival?

PS: Link for the movie is here: Forever We Are Young - A BTS ARMY Documentary

  • Oh I heard about this but I dont remember it being an official release since BigHit haven't posted about this film.

    Interesting.

It was only at a Film Festival in March, the Worldwide release is gonna be in the next 1-2 months or so, I think. At least, based on my other jobs with Trafalgar Release. I'm sure they planned this for to release it when all 7 of them are out of the military.

I am glad it covers the toxic part of the fandom, from the entitled fans who think it’s ok to encroach on every aspect of their personal lives as if they owe us something more than their hard work and talent.

Without any spoiler, the movie delved deep into their lore, especially the older fans, and there are a LOT of Youtube reactors as well, not to mention the massive amount of fans everywhere. They spent a lot of money to record something with fans from every country, almost. The old footage of fans when BTS were nugu was shocking in a good way, because I can't believe people still have those videos.

Appreciate the wonderful info. Thank you. Sounds like a fascinating film.
